Young people encouraged to be Lifeguards

The Strandfontein Surf Lifesaving Club is busy with an intiative of training the youth a skill in lifeguarding. The club's Billy Abrahams was in studio explaining that this will motivate them to look for employment in the field once qualified. Once qualified a life guard can enhance his/her skills by obtaining a licence and be a crewsman or a driver on an inflatable rescue boat.
