Sactwu home textile strike enters third week

South African Clothing and Textile Workers Union in the province has been on a strike that is currently on its third week. The workers in the sector are demanding a wage increament of R45 an hour while the employers are offering them R35. Sactwu's Regional organiser Sheila van Rensburg was in the studio with some of the shop stewards explaining some of their grievances and why they asking for this increase. Attempts to get hold of some of their employers were unsuccessful!
