Law Society South Africa calls for consistency from courts

Law Society South Africa has called for more consistency when courts are handing down sentences particularly when it concerns rape and sexual assault on minors. These proposals we made by the SA Law Reform Commission in 2000 aimed at addressing concerns that certain offences were not being treated with the same degree of seriousness by the courts.
