SWEAT slams insensitive reporting

Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce has warned the media that sensationalist reporting by the media is harmful to human rights. SWEAT's Sally Jean Shackelton spoke to us about how inaccurate and insensitive reporting perpetuates the stigma attached to sex workers. She appealed to the media to be more sensitive when reporting and take cognizance human rights of sex workers when covering stories.
