The Parent Centre hosts parent expo
The
Parent Centre was established 28 years ago in May 1983 as a project of the Cape
Town Welfare Society. The centre was initially started as a primary prevention
centre to reduce the influence of child abuse through the promotion of positive
parenting and effective child management practices that would enhance the
well-being and self esteem of parents and children. This centre also empowers
and supports parents and caregivers to raise and nurture resilient, well
balanced and competent children who develop in self sufficient, successful
adults and become as asset to society. In studio are Julia Starck and Shu-Aib Salie.
