A study conducted by the AIDS Legal Network and her partners clearly highlights the various forms and prevalence of violence against women living with HIV and illustrates the multi risks with women’s HIV status disclosure. The study supported by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women documented both women’s experiences of HIV-related violence and communities perceptions of violence against women living in four areas namely New Brigton (EC) Illovo (KZN) and Beacon Valley and Tafelsig (WC).
