Blind cricketers to be awarded national colours
Friday 16 November some blind cricketers
will be awarded national colours at a ceremony to take place at 8pm Shalimar Hotel. Amongst those to who will receive colours
for the very first time is Vernon Barnard a young matriculant at the Pioneer School for The Blind in Worcester and Sergil January
a talented young cricketer from CAFDA who was blinded some six years ago as a
result of a person to person violence. League of Friends of
Blind national coordinator and coach Armand Bam explained to us what it means for these boys to be part of the sport. Find them on www.lofob.org.za
