Elderly make their mark with the Noah Soap Project

The Neighbourhood Old Age Home Soap project was started in Khayelitsha in 2010 as a way for the elderly to generate an income and conbribute to their community. The Soap project recycles and re-packages soap donated by hotels and sells it to a number of places across the city. NOAH's Anne Van Niekerk had a chat with Bassie about how the programme works, whose involved in it and how far they have come since setting up shop 2 years ago. For more details visit www.noah.org.za or to order some of the soap.
