Hospice Association

We kicked off the show with the Director of the Hospice Association- Pat Seldabloem.

Literature Awards Competition

We were then joined by Sharon Hughes a Senior Publishing Manager at Maskew Miller Longman, and one of the coordinators of the Literature Awards Competition.

All short story writers are invited to enter the competition and they welcome entries in all 11 official South African languages. There is over R120 000 in prize money to be won- entrants are required to submit short story manuscripts aimed at the South African youth (aged 15 to 18).

Rules and entry forms are available from the Maskew Miller Longman head office in Cape Town on 021 532 6000 or via email – antheav@mml.co.za. An official entry form must accompany each entry. The closing date for the competition is 31 May 2008
