Rainbow Nation: The Propaganda of Democracy is breaking away from the traditional habit, through its investigation of the way the Rainbow Nation has been used.  It used to eclipse Black identity agenda with the single-racial-identity agenda of Rainbow Nation. the impact of which on the current status of Black Development, this book stresses are necessity of rethinking our expectations of Rainbow Nation .  

The author demonstrates the importance of other alternatives which can be used by Black people to achieve objectives their daily struggles. The brave tone of this book is much needed in our society to break the silence and stage debate. The sad fact that our society has not purged itself of racial injustice and inequality twenty four years deep into democracy.

Rainbow Nation: The Propaganda of Democracy engages with challenges a lot of beliefs and assumptions underlying the way we talk a bout our power and representation. It aims to act as a diagnoses and a road-map, charting various ills of South African politics and opening up the field to transformation and real change.
