Today on Backchat we were joined on the line by Mirjam Asmal-Dik from Cape Africa Platform (CAPE). The Cape Africa Platform is a groundbreaking cultural project located in Cape Town, South Africa. We were also joined in studio by Rashid Lanie. Rashid is an international recording pianist, composer and producer and he will be talking to us about his new album Remembrance. Lanie has worked with the likes of Macy Gray, Jackson Browne and Bobby Womack. The album is dedicated to the memory of his late Dad.
