Today on Backchat we were joined in studio by Collin and his friends from Ntonga, which is a musical and arts school in Gugulethu. The school is said to change the lives of many youngsters in the area who aspire to become jazz musician. For more information call Collin on 082 845 7263.

We were also joined on the line by Vivian Mcileka. Vivian is the co-ordinator at Umtha Welanga. The organisation us a community based response to the crisis of HIV in Khayalitsha. The organiosation uses the indigenous model of community care and support for the increasing numbers of children affected or infected by HIV/Aids.
