They help indigent patients at Groote Schuur and Tygerberg hospital

We had an interviews with Rusteda Samaai from Cape Kidney Association.The main purpose of the Association is to raise much needed funds to assist the indigent patients at Groote Schuur and Tygerberg Hospital as well as surrounding areas. They are the only Kidney Association in the Western Cape, and they supply food (nutrition) parcels to all our indigent patients at both hospitals. They also support indigent kidney patients with bursaries to enable them to further their education, and therefore to be able to enter into the work place.
