Trumpeter Mandla Mlangeni blows up for Heritage
We had a great conversation with Mandla Mlangeni the trumpeter, composer, BandLearder of the Tune Recreation Committee and Amandla freedom Ensemble, whose debut album voices of vision was in New York Time's Best Albums of 2017 and SAMA nominee for the best jazz album.
In this celebration of Heritage Month Mandla will blow up the perfect musical storm with the little Giants to produce an oasis of original and South African classics. Joining the jazz trumpeter are his friends who will play first set in a series of gigs that take place in different venues from 19-25 September.
