Faces and Voices of Recovery South Africa

We opened the show with the executive director of Faces and Voices of Recovery South Africa, Jurgen Smit. They use previous drug addicts to help people currently suffering from drug addiction.

FAVOR SA aims to provide a free “One Stop” Portal for Information, Education and Prevention on substance abuse from selected local and international website links.

Some of their main objectives are: to show that recovery is possible, end discrimination and stigma against addicts and people in recovery, gain support from public health authorities for improved treatment programmes and facilities.
