Community Theatre in Khayelitsha
We opened the show today with Mluleki Sam from the Magnet Theatre company.
The Community Groups Intervention Showcase of The Magnet Theatre Educational Trust will take place on Saturday 10 November 2007 at Andile Msizi Hall, Site B, Khayelitsha.
The showcase starts at 10:00 and tickets cost R5.00 each at the venue.
Magnet Theatre is an independent award winning South African physical theatre company which has operated for the past twenty years regionally, nationally and internationally.

No Limits for Street Children
We were later joined by Isabelle Swarts from the ‘The No Limits for Street Children’ programme that was started in 1995.
The programme serves to empower and develop street children to re-unite them with their family or community of origin.
They operate in the Central Business District of Goodwood, Parow, Bellville, Kuils River, Brackenfell, Kraaifontein and Durbanville.
