Matric 2007
We ended the show with grade 12 learners. They spoke about their experience during their final year of school.
They also highlighted the highs and lows that came with the year. The biggest low being the Public Servants strike, this strike interrupted their learning time.
Hence some of them have not felt prepared for some of their subjects.
Good luck to all matriculants and best of luck for the future.

Bushman Boy and the Flats
We were joined later by Kirk Kots, who does the vocals and plays in the band Bushman Boy and the Flats.
‘The band was formed in July 2006 as a result of internet ads placed by the band’s leader, Kirk Krotz, looking for band members to tackle an existing repertoire of songs written by Krotz.’
Their songs aim to emulate the staying power of traditional bushman songs and stories that have become “immortal”.
