Carlos Alberto Parreira resigned as Bafana coach

Today we spoke to Monwabisi Jimlongo sport journalist from Daily Voice. The issue was the resignation of Carlos Alberto Parreira as Bafana Bafana coach. The Brazilian was hired to take the Bafana Bafana to a better position and to prepare them for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and he signed the four-year contract with South African Football Association (SAFA). During the past week the SAFA house recieved the sad news from Parreira saying that he is quitting from his job. After his departure SAFA has approached Bafana Bafana's assistant coach Jairo Leal to continue with Parreira’s philosophy. Speaking from SAFA House on Monday, Parreira explained the reasons for his decision. He is going home to be with his wife who has cancer. Does that means our medical system is not at par with that of Brazil?

We then spoke to Zwelethu Jolobe a political analyst from University of Cape Town (UCT). We spoke about the China cargo ship which was rejected to doc at Durban port after it failed to reveal what it carried. The An Yue Jiang turned up on the 14th April with weapons destined for Zimbabwe. Currently it is not clear weather it is till around or on its way back to China.
