Soccer is not just for boys!

Bassie Montewa, Grace, Roxanne Bucker and Antonia Mapunya

Grace, Roxanne and Antonia are three passionate women for being on the field. As the three of them have learnt the niche and balance of social life verses soccer, they remain enthusiastic about playing soccer.

Grace being the Manager of UWC ladies football, she was a football player. Later on in her football career she started assisting the different teams she fell in love with coaching. This is how she got connected with Roxanne Bucker and Antonia Mapunya.

Both Roxanne and Antonia joined UWC ladies football for 2018 and says it is not easy. Especially because soccer is a male-dominated sport. They believe that the youth should use soccer to get education and to never lose the passion for soccer.

These girls gets a thrill for the crowd, they cannot believe people support female soccer and this is what helps them move forward in life. But as a women soccer team they need sponsorship for the next generation of female soccer players.
