a non-profit organisation that works through strategic partnerships that includes sponsors, government departments, business school s and international associations for the interest of its members.  

The Businesswomen's Association of South Africa enjoyed a history of  service to its diverse membership through networking, training, mentoring, knowledge-sharing and national recognition since 1980.

South Africa has 7 branches located strategically touching the main points with membership of the BWASA. Each branch is lead by a group of passionate, intrepid women and their support and guidance in the economic value of gender transformation which positioned BWA as a legitimate empowerment.
