South African National Editors Forum (SANEF)
We were later joined by Raymond Louw of the South African National Editors Forum (SANEF).
He spoke about the recent arrest and withdrawal of charges of the Radio Islam International News Editor, Azhar Vadi that was arrested on charges of interfering with police at a crash scene.
‘While welcoming the dismissal of charges against him, Sanef repeats its call on police to conduct a thorough investigation with a view to taking disciplinary action against the police officer who carried out what was clearly an unlawful arrest’ says Louw.
