The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children

The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children is a United Nations campaign, which takes place annually from the 25th November (International Day of No Violence against Women) to the 10th December (International Human Rights Day). The campaign has in the past generated massive awareness on issues of violence against women and children. In the studio we had Jerimia Thuynsma and Lynn Phillips to talk about the series of events to take place in Khayelitsha and Mitchells Plain to promote the event
