 South African icons, Mi Casa, will perform at De Waal Park in Upper Orange Street,

Cape Town.

One of the most acclaimed and successful bands to emerge from South Africa in

recent years, Mi Casa blends the infectious Deep House & Soulful House style and

musical traditions of pop, jazz, blues and indie rock. Formed in Johannesburg 2011

where they all met at a Night Lounge - the band is a national hit. Their live shows are

legendary.

On Sunday 4th December from 1pm, Mi Casa will share the bandstand with the


Majozi and a surprise opening Group.

“Why not do different places?” remarked lead singer J’Something when asked about

De Waal Park. It is an exciting and beautiful venue to share our music with the

city. “This is a show we as a band really look forward to with the audience being so

close to you. You truly feed off the crowd

“We have our album out entitled “WE MADE IT”, and we will be playing material

from that, as well our classic hits. The songs translate so well live and fans show so

much love when they’re played, so we’ll be reciprocating, big time!”


MAJOZI, a South African singer/songwriter, performing original Indie-folk / pop

material.

Known for his wide vocal range, Majozi - a self-taught guitarist later studying Jazz

Foundation Trust also high energy pop . Majozi is guaranteed to have audiences on

their feet. The infectious beat and meaningful lyrics have fans singing along with

Gusto – an entertainer throughout.


Gates open at 10 am. Concerts start at 1 pm Enjoy a wonderful afternoon in the pet-

friendly park. Remember; however, please keep your pets leashed at all times while

within the park during the concert.
