Lonmin strike update

Backchat concluded with an interview with Sipho Singiswa from Media for Justice about the latest happenings at Lonmin Platinum mine in Marikana. This as the wildcard strike is still on going with the government sending in the army to assist police in maintain order. This follows the killing of 44 people last month when police opened fire on striking workers who were demanding an increase of their wages to R12 500 a month.
